Elena Zotova was born and works in Moscow. In 1986, she graduated from the Moscow School of Art Crafts (МШХР). In 1992, she graduated art-graphic faculty of the Moscow State Open Pedagogical University name after Sholokhov (МГОПУ). Since 1994 a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. Elena is constant participant of domestic and foreign exhibitions. She works in many museums and private collections in Russia and other countries. Elena has started to work with ceramic in 1987 and further began to be engaged in porcelain. After 15 years of work with this technologically complex, but beautiful material, she developed her original style of porcelain modeling and decorating, bright and original, easily recognized by collectors.

About porcelain All over the world products from thin porcelain - /"White gold/" were always appreciated as one of the most dear, refined, aristocratic, especially modeled and painted by hand, they show higher level of skill of an artist. Unique art of tiny moulding allows to open wonderful features of porcelain in it's all beauty: semi-transparency, the most thin structure, ability to pass light, noble lightness in a combination to brightness and cleanliness of a painting. The porcelain miniatures created by Elena after roasting bewitch the semi-transparency and marvelous modulations of shades of a painting. Therefore all products are unique and executed in the single copy that makes them an interesting find for collectors and judges of porcelain.           The technology For creation of such miniatures the author combines simultaneously in one product the majority of known ways dressing and a painting of porcelain that helps brighter disclosure of an idea behind the art. There is also a porcelain modeling by hand from color porcelain (\"Biscuit\"), and a painting by color porcelain and salts of metals on crude glaze, under glaze by high-temperature pigments, and also above glaze's painting and dressing by gold, platinum and the special nacreous covering fixed by roasting. The artist embodies conceived, constantly improving technology, in fact each new thing demands ingenuity and experiments.
